A while back ago my pastor wrote to me on an area I was considering serving and he said to me, "I don't believe this is your mission." I pondered the words. As I have recently written the e-book and hope to write others, I wonder if this is on track with my "mission."
But one of my hang ups is that I'm an idea person and an action person, but not an influencer. It means that I have a lot of ideas, I'm willing to do the work for them, I just have trouble getting others to join me. But the question is, do these ideas and things I do, are the in line with mission? Because even if they are good things, are they being a distraction? Perhaps. Am I being driven or am I being called? I'm sure a bit of both.
Jesus had clear mission. And in a sense, I have a mission, but it is so broad. This means I must press in daily to get the clarity of the moment.
