Luke 8:50--Comforting the grieving

I said a few posts ago something along the lines that the main fear Jesus comforts is the fear of himself.  But as I'm reading along I see that Jesus comforts the parents of those who have just lost their daughter--right before he raises her from the dead.  Jairus had put his faith in Jesus, Jesus delayed getting to his daughter and his little girl died while they were on the journey.  "Don't be afraid; just believe, and she will be healed."  Beautiful.   Comforting.  I'm glad for this picture too.  It's not that Jesus was being insensitive to the sailors, but the context was different.  In this context it was deep human suffering, and Jesus is right where we expect him to be, healing hearts and bodies.
